Considered so rare, many believe they don't even exist any more, a northern right whale was seen on one of our cruises in June, 2001.
Considered so rare, many believe they don't even exist any more, a northern right whale was seen on one of our cruises in June, 2001. As is always the case with right whales in this ocean, it was seen once but despite a NOAA aerial search for it the next day, was not seen again. The right whale is the most endangered of the whales.
