Orcas~Killer Whales

There is only one place for a wild animal: in the wild, living large.
And free.

While this killer whale appears to be smiling, it may have been giving us the signal the elephant seal they'd been
milling around was theirs and not ours and to back off. We just sat and watched as the orcas wove back and forth
under our boat. Elephant seals can dive very deep for long periods of time and there is the chance she did just that.
It's all fascinating out there!

"We had a wonderful cruise and a tremendous day of watching
whales all around the boat for hours. I don't think I've seen
that many whale tails since Porsche stopped producing the 930 series."
Patrick Hess/San Jose, CA
